Love comes in so many different forms, but it usually occurs spontaneously and without allowing time to analyse what's happening.
Something random will happen and then bam, it hits you... "ah, fuck."

My guess would be...like any other thing....Time. Dont pressure, dont spam messages, just be honest to who you are, and let them be themselves. It will either work out in time, or wont. If you're available and sincerely mean to repair any relationship, you have to wait...and the waiting sucks, but it is needed for everyone to feel comfortable.
