Well I would have the window down and go around 80 MPH I would say. Assuming its summer out. Down to 60 MPH if its raining or snowing and of course if the cops are active or nearby. I will admit that I typically speed a good 10 MPH over the limit so yeah... Could use a road trip, haven't been on one in a while.Hypothetical...
Road trip, long trip, you're in no hurry, but you don't want to take forever either. Pretend there's no speed limit, like the autobahn or autostrada (but not) - how fast do you drive?
*agrees*Especially with my curvy bum
Living in Australia, we have the vast reaches of the Australia outback, where towns are often 200 kilomtres or more apart. The Northern Territory has many sections of open speed limit roads as well. Its why many of the big performance car makers often bring their latest rocket ships here to film commercials as its entirely legal. I will have to admit to a recent trip, distance roughly 1800 klms traveling right up the middle of my state. On quite a few occasions, I had the cruise control set on 260kph (about 160mph) for up to an hour at a time. My baby likes to run. LS1 Chev, 600hp, manual, its just no effort at all, really. The number plate is YEE-HAA.I also have a big bike, ZZR1100 and I have topped 300kph on her, but only once and I will also admit to needing a change of underwear afterwards. It's number plate is 00-BABY. Yes, I'm a rev-head from way back and did many seasons of circuit racing and drag racing so a little speed is something I am very comfortable with.
