How many hours a week do you spend on FCN?

I've gone for 8-16 hours as it depends where I am at the time. For example if not at girlfriends or on holiday.

It's an addiction this place lol
 
I'm always on, pretty free at work when there is no rush I can find time to laugh around ;)
 
Eh if it's on the forums, I'm pretty much always online :3

Chat is a little tricky. It depends on a lot of things to keep me online there these days so, yeah.
 
hard to reply, im often online leaving the chatroom open behind other windows while doing something else, and if anyone i know comes upand messages me i have a chat, i think i chat 4-6 hours a week, but its probably open more 48 hours...

Exactly!
You have to maintain a balance is all.

We are spending time on other social networking sites so why not here instead. I don't mind participating in threads or checking my inbox even when I'm doing something else.
Like I said, chat room is different in that regard. You'll end up spending more time without realising if the conversation is good.

Agreed, but in my case I end up spending too much time on recreation here rather than healthier recreation.
 
I'm a writer, so I am sitting at the PC for long hours while I do my literary thing anyway. I log in to FCN for the occasional break it provides.

So, the nickname is 'technically' here for long hours but as for actually being here myself, 90% of the time, I am in MS Word working on the next manuscript.

I will check the forum now and then while I am having some thinking time or pop into chat when a PM goes 'ding'. That never takes up much of my on-line time and if I added up all the time I am actually actively participating in FCN, it's probably less than 8 hours a week even though the nickname is often here for 60+ hours.

I’m a freelance concept artist so I spend lots of hours online. Whether finding reference material or going thru vid tutorials being on FCN has provided me some much needed recreational social contact with so many people it’s pretty great. At the end of the day in my off line life I’m not in here as much. It varies obviously, but I’m not sure if I should be in here more or out and about, seeing I’m more of a introvert in social gatherings. Maybe that’s why it’s easier to chat on here than out like in a bar of coffee shop.

I’m guessing I need to make more offline friends than online ones... sigh... interacting is maybe harder for me, but hopefully more Chicagoans come on board in here and that would help tremendously.
 
When I'm actually here, I'm guessing 8-16 hours a week? With classes being out for the summer, I have more time than usual. I kind of binge post a lot of times, so it seems like I'm here more than I am, lol. But like tonight, I am done with all I had to do and I'm broke, lol. So night in! I will probably get at least a few hours in tonight. So yeah for now, 8-16 hours. At least, lol. Will go down when we start up rehearsals.
 
Yeah, agree that the actual time spent on the site is what should be reported in the poll.
