Depends on lots of factors. Dry clean only? Can it be tumble dried? Is it lightweight?
Many of my coats are dry clean only, in which case I tend to have them cleaned when marked/stained and/or once during the winter months of wearing them. Jackets I can wash at home, whenever they’re dirty, or once I’ve worn them a few times.
