Have you tried clicking on the paperclip "attach files"? Works for me fine

Yes I did and it didn't work.

Insert image (ctrl + p) does work though. I didn't see that before

Pasting will also work, providing it's an upload under 1024kb or an image URL of any size and the host website permits direct linking.
