Hello,

Im not sure whats wrong but I cant change my Pfp or my Banner, its always saying: "Oops! We ran into some problems. Please try again later. More error details may be in the browser console." I tried updating, relogging, restarting, trying others Pics. Tbh I tried anything I know of.
 
Having the same issue, actually can't switch back to my old pfp after trying to help someone with this exact problem...
Curiously enough, the picture that gave him this error actually worked for me. :rolleyes:
 
I'm unable to upload a new pfp/banner as well. When I look at the network traffic in Chrome's Dev Tools the image upload (a POST to https://www.freechatnow.com/forum/account/avatar) receives a 403 (unauthorized) response from Cloudflare. That Cloudflare response page (not displayed to the end user) includes the following:

According to this Reddit post (yeah, I know, how many times have you heard that before) it might be caused by a too-strict Cloudflare WAF (Web Application Firewall) rule introduced in early August. It looks like the upload issues started before then, but maybe it's another WAF setting.
 
Whatever is blocking the image uploads seems to be very sensitive to the image itself, whether size/bytes.... who knows. I was able to get an image uploaded by cropping it and trying the upload (took a couple tries).
 
It's finally working for me again, can't say if i just got lucky tho. That issue feels kinda random.

I think it's just related to the amount of your forum posts, not the actual time you've been registered.
