...being a total newbie to the site and this form of chat........which is great fun I have to say
My question is.....what is this updog thing all about?
Keep hearing people say...updog me....so I am here asking.

'Updog' is a joke word the FCN censor uses to blank out the names of IM services like Yahoo or Skype. It used to say 'Moo' a while back and about a dozen different other words before that depending on the humour status of the admin team.

You know, this whole time, I thought people were saying updog on purpose just to try & get someone to say "what's updog?" and after a while, I thought "this joke has pretty much run its course... why are people still doing it?" And now I know.

But I would've never asked.
