Excitement gripped the scientific communit of the East of England recently following the announcement by a team of Essex astronomers of evidence for a truly startling event - a mini black hole in our very own solar system.
Gravitational and other evidence indicated that not only was it in our solar system, but very close to Earth. However, the press conference where the announcement was made decended into pandamonium when during a demonstratoion their instrumemts went berserk. There were cries of "My God it is less than a mile away". At which point they all stampeded out of building.
We have yet to receive a press statement of what exactly happened after that. The astronomers have refused to speak and were last seem storming off down to the nearest pub looking very annoyed and muttering about their "lost Nobel prizes". However, there was one who would only speak to us briefly and anonymously. He only said:
"It's a really slutty bottom, pulling eveything in to that hole..."
