I wish

I wish I had been brave enough to go back and try once more to save my friends.
Wishing about what we cannot change is hurtful to us, but I get it hun..
Like others have said, you can just remember them keep them close to your heart xxx

I gonna be selfish here.
1 I wish I had mad the move on my now wife 27 years ago.
2 I wish I never took the job which sent me to iraq
3 I wish my brother was still here and that he never worked on that farm with sheep dip.

Don't be daft. God knows I get the same way at times. It's better out than bottled up believe me. ;)

Yes you're right. I think because I was in the Navy for a few more years afterwards I did bottle it up, instead of properly dealing with it. Blokes on ships didn't discuss things like feelings in those days.
Thanks again to everyone for your understanding. So to lighten the mood at last.....
I wish I hadn't got quite so drunk on my Runs Ashore!

Lol oh but you do @london60! Those drunken runs ashore are part of who you were..
Ps. Do you still drink?

Lol, yes they were certainly part of the drunken idiot I could be back then. But if I'd been a bit less drunk I might remember more about some of the places we visited!! My excuse is that we were young, stupid, and all sailors have always done it.

No I don't drink anymore, but for completely unrelated health reasons.

My 3 wishes:

I wish people knew they were enough, just being them, being imperfectly perfect.

I wish we all gave a little more selflessly, took a little less selfishly.

I wish we didn't need wishes to make us regret things, that are in the past, or things that make us who we are.
