If you could commit murder..

pretty sure the English language is murdered here daily

Multiple times to be honest. A lot of excuses tend to be that's how we talk around here. Or wat, dat our style man..

As an ex Policeman I won't join in beyond that. I don't want to make life too easy for people :D

The How: Anything that doesn't leave evidence behind. You don't want to shoot someone, or stab them repeatedly. Cleaning blood is like deleting browser history - you'll never be able to get it all. No, it'd need to be something like drowning, or poison... whatever.

To get away with it, you need to get rid of the body. If there's no body, there's no murder. Take it far away, leave your phone at home, don't use a vehicle that has gps, or wifi, or any way to track where it's been. It might take a while, so plan the murder over a weekend - even a holiday weekend, if possible. If you bury it (which you should), bury it deep, cover it with a couple feet of dirt, then bury a dead animal on top of it - something like a medium sized dog, at least. Don't kill a dog just to bury it on top of your dead body though... that's wrong.

Well it would depend on loads of different factors..
true.. but those factors can be reduced on how the killing is done.. even at that.. it's still a lot of factors to consider.
But lets take for example IF it was up and personal.. look at all the tracks you would have to cover oppose to a drive bye shooting :)

Nice comment. but the part "If there's no body, there's no murder". isn't necessarily true... ppl get charged on circumstantial evidence all the time. js

Uhhh, no. People get charged for murder because there's evidence of murder. With no evidence of murder, all it is is a missing person.

But it depends on your motive. For instance you might want a quick kill.. or a long drawn out torturous death.

as far as burying a dead dog on top.. well that probably wouldn't work either.. When law enforcement calls out their K-9's.. their dogs will be able to sniff out the body with no problem. The dogs can smell up to 10ft under ground. js

True.. I guess once the 'kind' of murder is established.. it's the getting away with it is the challenge.. that would be more interesting.. A lot of attention to detail getting away with murder than the actual murder itself..jmo

Hence the dead dog... when they get to the dog, they'll assume that's what their dog smelled. Is their dog going to tell them there's a body just a couple more feet down? No, it's not, because dogs can't talk.

Indeed, though you still need to know a rough area of search and its time consuming as well.

Water losses tend to be harder as its very hard to search in certain locations.

But often tertiary evidence is what causes the issue. The weird things on your purchase list. And as long as you don't crack under questioning as well.
