That's a matter of opinion, which is not only shared by women like me. I know enough men who would rather cut off their hands than burst into tears in front of anyone. It's not about whether you cry in general, but about saving your own face.
Btw, this isn't gender specific. I would also only cry if no one was there, so...
Some people may not understand it, but that's how people like me think about it. That doesn't mean that I point my finger at others and laugh at them because they behave differently than I do in such a situation.

It's a matter of dignity, okay? Human dignity is complex and not all people have the same idea of dignity.
Yeah, I wouldn't be thrilled if someone cried in front of me for the reasons you mentioned. But that wouldn't mean I couldn't understand it. And I wouldn't scoff at that either.
This isn't an attempt to foist my opinion on you. You see it that way, I see it differently. For some people, dignity means everything. I'm not suggesting that there can't be a disadvantage in thinking this way, or that someone who thinks this way will be accepted by everyone. It's not about right or wrong here, but about a certain attitude towards something.
If that's why you bang your hands in front of your head and wonder what that stupid cow is writing, then you have every right to do so. We just have different opinions on this, which is completely normal. You can't understand that or it seems strange to you? Then so is it.
