My mum would say she’s from Liverpool, but from the right side of the tracks. Like she had to emphasize that
So i've watched a lot of DIY shows and the one's from canada always makes me laugh. You use the metric system in school and engineering but the construction trades use imperial for lumber, drywall, and such. Lol. I feel so sorry for anyone doing diy in Canada.

I was able to generally talk in metric for 3D printing... everything is in millimeters. But i rarely was able to convert. I did buy a metric tape measure and had to make sure it was a different color than the rest of them so I wouldn't get the increase and cm mixed. Lol.
