So I made this because atleast one or two people made the last thread about themselves because they're insecure and started attacking people instead of talking about the subject at hand. Anyway.

Here's links to the trial so everyone can fact check as they please. I'll also be happy to answer any questions. Keep the replies civil and don't personally attack anyone.

Before anyone starts saying something like the links don't work or something along those lines, you have to copy and paste them into your search bar for them to work. People were complaining in the other one saying they didn't work and this and that. All of the links work you just have to copy and paste.

Could somebody explain this to me? I've never heard of "Kyle Rittenhouse" ... figure I should learn at least a little after the trouble I helped cause. I mean, if that's okay with you?..

You probably don't live in the US. Kyle Rittenhouse was a seventeen year old who shot and killed more than one person in self defense whilst protecting a car shop from rioters.

Sounds fair to me in all honesty, that's a do or die situation at that age. I'm British, but my knowledge is (usually) quite extensive.

Yes, and the original debate was whether or not he should have been held morally accountable.
I don't think of him as a hero tbh, I just think of someone exercising their rights to protect themselves.
There is also the controversy that if he was black, he would have been locked away without a question. (Which I can agree with imo)

Hmm... I'm not normally racial, but I tend to agree. Simply because it's harder to know if it's retaliation for inequality or self defense.

Personally I think if was black. He wouldn't make it to court. Black kid with an AR-15? Cops would have shot him on sight.

But if he did make it to court (This is assuming everything else is the same and Kyle is just black) Considering all the evidence. The prosecution being a joke. I think he would be found innocent. I'd find him innocent atleast.
