Another lovely day, despite a lot of rain. Escaped most of it by going underground at the Remourchamp caves. An underground boat tour takes you back after a roam around under the earth. The rest of the day was mostly filled with American military sites, the first of which so beautifully done it brought a tear to my eye. Also the best artisan ice cream I have ever had (tiramisu and passion fruit sorbet). So worth the calories!

What started out gloomy and drizzly in a cable car towards the citadel in Namur, continued as cloudy with some sunshine at the abbey of Villers and and later the site (and museum) of the battle of Waterloo, turned into full blown sunshine after dinner at a small chapel between green farm fields.

I wondered how popular Namur would be if the site was restored to that in the painting in photo two. Beautiful.

So beautiful ❤️

Yesterday was the last full day in the Ardennes, which I've loved. Driving home in the rain, right now.

Spent a few hours enjoying a safari through Domain des grottes de Han. Skipped the cavss, as it was far too beautiful a day to be underground for hours and had done another cave tour esrlier in the week. After came the picturesque town of Durbuy. I went there with family as a child, but 30 years later, it brought back no memories. It was however beautiful. Picked up some things st a super cute candy/chocolate shop to take home.

Done annoying you all with my pictures now :p
