Sometimes you just gotta look up
It's so nice to see Kangaroos, after the horrible fires that took so many animal's lives. I saw how koala bears were trapped in the fires as well, clinging to tree top branches, only to be burned alive in them. Ugh! I can only hope that those who care for these majestic animals, are able to find ways to save more, when, and if these fires should visit Aussie land again. A great pic for survival!

The first thing I thought of seeing that image was the old railroad trail outside my former residence. I would walk my dogs down the trail every day. You could see nature at it's best. The gift of seeing wildlife as a treat every once in a while(deer, geese, ducks, etc.). Sadly, we lost our secret, private, railroad dirt trail. The state, and all the states that border the east US coast, agreed to turn this railroad trail into a "rail trail", for everyone. Paving it over, and even putting down lines to show who's side of the trail you were on. lol smh It became over used, and the serenity, nature, quiet, and peace you felt walking this former treasure, were gone. Now, bicycle riders curse you should you be walking your dog(s), on the trail and they get in "THEIR" way. Or, even policeman on bicycles who patrol will warn you if your dog(on leash), get's in their way. After the make over the trail was no longer a fun, peaceful place to walk, and enjoy NATURE! The thrill was gone, and so was I and my poor pups who had to dodge families with small children, cyclists who thought they owned the trail, and alike.
But Kris, this pic is great for taking me back to a time, and place I once cherished, thank you!
