RECIPE: PERFECT SOFT YOKE, FRIED EGGS, WITH OPTIONAL SLICE OF CHEESE ON TOP AND, OR, BACON, BREAKFAST SAUSAGE, OR SLICED HAM... THIS RECIPE JUST HAS THE SLICE OF CHEESE...
1) TAKE YOUR SMALLEST (NON STICK), FRYING PAN, AND LID THAT WILL FIT IT... 2) YOU'LL NEED BUTTER, SALT, PEPPER, 2, 3, OR, 4 LARGE EGGS, AND A LUNCH SIZE PLATE... 3) SET YOUR STOVE TOP TO 6, OR, MEDIUM, TO MEDIUM HIGH... 4) MELT BUTTER(KEEP WATCH SO IT DOESN'T BURN), ADD EGGS, SPRINKLE SALT, AND PEPPER OVER THE EGGS... 5) PLACE LID ON TOP OF FRYING PAN, KEEP WATCH UNTIL YOU SEE THE YOKES DISAPPEAR WITH A THIN LAYER OF WHITE OVER THE YOLKS... 6) REMOVE LID, ADD SLICE OF CHEESE(SPLIT SLICE IN HALF TO SPREAD ACROSS EGGS), THEN PLACE LID ON TOP OF FRYING PAN... 7) REMOVE PAN FROM HOT BURNER, PLACE ON COLD BURNER, THE HEAT FROM THE COOKING WILL QUICKLY MELT THE CHEESE... KEEP WATCH AND YOU CAN SEE THE SLICE OF CHEESE MELT... 8) TAKE LUNCH SIZE PLATE, AND THE MOISTURE CREATED BY HAVING THE LID ON TOP... WILL HAVE MADE THE EGGS, SLIDE EASILY OUT OF YOUR FRYING PAN... 9) TAKE YOUR FAVORITE SAUCE YOU LIKE TO PUT ON YOUR EGGS, OR, USE KETCHUP, AS I DO...
