Took a lovely walk earlier. An old country estate woodland, dating back to 1840. They also had a small deer park in the middle, but they were hiding a bit. So nice to finally see the fall colours starting to show. And luckily the rain didn't start until we were almost back at the car.

It was extremely foggy this morning. I took a gamble and drove to the woodland I m visited Tuesday. An hour away, but once there, totally worth the effort. Given the news I received later, extra glad I went, it gave me some much needed mental energy.
