A wonderful day at the zoo. Literally cried, I was so happy. A magical one on one with a young lynx. Kneeling by a chainlink fence as it walked towards me ans sniffed me, looking unbothered by my presence. If it wasn't for the fence I could've easily touched her. Without anyone around, it felt like a very intimate moment with such a beautiful creature.

The park was so expansive and wooded, with few people around on a Friday, it felt like you were all alone on a woodland walk, at times.

Since no one delivers on Sunday - my family all sent me flowers (five bouquets) chocolate, a bear and, cards, a book and two gift cards today. Not really celebrating my birthday tomorrow, just going out to dinner and got a small double chocolate mousse cake.

But this is a treat

Took a photo at the restaurant we went to tonight after all the tables around us had been cleared. Looked so nice!

The table divide was a sort of deer with things hanging off it's antlers. Cute!
