Had lunch yesterday at this local Mexican restaurant. I had something called Carne Con Chile Verde aka meat with green chili. It was pork and then I had refried beans and Spanish rice. Also a yummy cup of Horchata. I did go to DQ had a blizzard just forgot to snap a picture lol

Back to Monday ...

We started with a cable car up the mountain, then hiked for several hours and took a cogwheel train back down. Headed to Meiringen for an afternoon of F-18 watching (the waterfall is behind the runway) and ended the day in Thun at sunset.

Great hike today and also some scary drama, but first, back to Saturday ...

Started on a beautiful mountain pass, then Mount Rigi (with it's vast views). Up by cogwheel train and hiking partway down, then ended the day in Lucerne.

Yesterday was the last full day in Switzerland. Spent it taking the cable car up the Oeschinensee for a hike and relax by the glacial lake. Then lunch on the balcony, back at our apartment. Drove to Chillon castle for a look around and to photograph sunset over Lac Leman before a huge thunderstorm rolled in feom France.

A vacation filled with great new experiences and memories to hold dear.
