I think that's what we get here, it's a weed known as creeping thistle, it usually gets these strange pink/purple flowers on it. The flowers do attract bees though.

Oops. If you saw earlier I did say I like it lol as it flowers purple and it attracts bees which is always good. I just don't want it reaching my garden. Didn't mean to make your head explode
