To get this angle need to take the picture from a window. Window has a screen in it. But looks neat with the filter.
Hate the snow but does make for pretty pictures.

Always find it fun that the US Military issues things like this. UK we just get certificate for it. Have a folder full of bits of paper. At least a coin I could mount with the rest.

Its an old tradition "the challenge coin" don't know if this is still done , but you used to get an in and out coin during an introduction type ceremony. It was a way to meet the newbies and say farewell to those leaving.

What we used them for was drinks, if you were at the post bar / club and someone laid there coin on the bar you had to present yours and if those who could not had to buy everybody that did a beer, however if everybody presented the coin the gut who posted his first had to buy everybody a beer

There is a deeper history of it if you google it you can find it but that is the fun side of it anyway. I just remember my wallet always had an impression of the coin on one side and a condom on the other lol

Lol, like traditions like that.

We used to have Grenade. So you shouted that in the bar and everyone had to hit the deck. Last man/woman standing bought the next round. You could only call one grenade a night per person as well.
