Pro tip: pause the video and use the slider to scroll by frame. If video has been shot in landscape orientation, view it in the same mode, to maintain proper slider control.

I did exactly that but to no avail - the slider split it into larger increments than preferred - I made it on a different ap, not with my phone cam.
