I believe people who are getting to know each other in the early stages of a relationship should have sex ASAP to see if they have any real chemistry, as without sexual chemistry there can be no future...

Sex is another way to connect and without it the relationship will fail because you will eventually cheat to be satisfied

I'm happy to wait for the intimacy part. Sure, incompatible sex will kill a relationship but its not only very rare, it usually affects relationships years down the track. Poor social skills, manners, respect, charm, wit, attitudes and beliefs and the variations in all those things will kill more relationships than the compatibility levels in sex ever will. And, those are the things you can find out before things get intimate.

Only if you have enough will power to stop yourself Miss Lakeside!
I let myself get intimate with someone, changed my whole life because I fell over head over heels with that person only to find out (3 years down the line) that either she couldn’t communicate or I’m not as approachable as I thought!
Having said that, we were very compatible in the bedroom! Lol

Social skills manners and respect. The things sadly lacking in a lot of people these days

I think while bad sex or no sex can definitely be a contributing factor to a relationship going bad in some cases, even the greatest sex in the world can't save a bad relationship that doesn't have love or trust or mutual respect.
Now, having said that, I definitely think it's good to have sex early on but that's just me and I'm more mature. For someone younger, things may seem different.
