There was NEVER EVER ONCE EVER a restriction in-place to prevent any other registered member or entire internet, for that matter, from viewing the forum and all threads within the forum. My sticky post simply requests for men to NOT POST in the Lesbian forum. It's very simple.
Any men posting in the thread always had their posts removed.
Mine was referring to the fact that, on the forum home page, for a long time the last post shown in the lesbian section was by a guy (different from the one who poked his nose in here) and I wanted that to change

I appreciate that! But that was a pretty sus thread overall (one of the numerous “show me your boobs, I’m totes a lesbian” threads) so I don’t think it was even worth the effort of reporting

I'm getting all the "points." We're not going to start moderating out of a hunch. We operate on clear facts, demonstrable evidence. If we moderated the website on feelings, hunches, personal moral panics and vibes, there'd be nothing but chaos. I didn't start doing this yesterday.
No, you're not getting it. I never said you should moderate the sus thread. I said the guy posting in the thread wasn't worth reporting because the thread was started by someone claiming to be a lesbian who was probably another guy, iow none of it was really worth anyone's time worrying about
