Booooonus hint that won’t help! I did another book by this author ages ago
The mysterious disappearance of Leon (I mean Noel) by Ellen Raskin?
Nope, but we now have 2 correct words
Ahhh Locket snuck in there! The Westing Game is correct!
Oh come on !The mysterious disappearance of Leon (I mean Noel) by Ellen Raskin?
That's it! Had an explanation all worked up but I guess I don't need that now. Good job Princess! The mysterious disappearance of Leon (I mean Noel) by Ellen Raskin?
In this book, when Leon/Noel disappears underwater, he says something that is partially obscured by him bobbing up and down in the water, so all they hear is "Noel *glub* C *blub* all...I *glub* new..." And a good bit of the book is the other characters trying to figure out wtf he said. So your "the something (x)all" made me think of that!the something (x)all
hmm
Me neither, but going to try anyway![]()
It's definitely kid-appropriate but advanced enough that I don't think she'd be bored. I checked, and most sites I saw have it rated for 8-12 years, and I think I was in that range the first time I read itMaybe I’ll track down a copy for Scarlet? Is she the right age range for it ?
I mean I get what you're saying but I think I can safely say no. apology. needed.(Apologies in advance for the highly inappropriate imagery depicting this book, given it's theme)
