Okay, this is NOT my thing. I have roleplayed before, but never 18+ content, so I'm embarrassed/nervous/apprehensive about this. First off, I am 34/F/cis and that's mainly what I write because of limited experience. I only rp as different character personas, never as myself. I don't send pics and don't particularly want to receive them. I enjoy general role-playing and am into sci-fi/fantasy/anime/manga/video games, but that's not what I'm here about.
I'm needing some help with a story I'm writing in making the romantic scenes with the male characters flow better and not feel like... well, you know, complete cringe garbage? I can write cringe garbage just fine on my own and can think up some incredible and wild scenarios that a woman might want to happen, but let's face it, I don't particularly care for that. I like a bit of grounding reality in my smut, so I'm sure somebody else out there might feel the same way.
Background info for the setting: a world similar to ours, perhaps a bit extreme biome-wise, where people have also been beginning to extend colonization into space (this is just a fact-of-life in the setting, not a story focus element). Characters, also in a fact-of-life manner, have powers (nothing god-like, but pretty diverse).
What I'm really looking for is someone who likes to step into the roles of all different kinds of characters (I'll settle for someone who would use one from my list below) and all sorts of situations but with a focus on the dialogue and character interaction. You can make up your own character's background and powers, I don't want to control much outside of the general setting. I really just want to gain some experience in that conversation piece and try different ideas out with someone familiar with roleplay. It doesn't have to all be sexual, but I definitely want to enter smut territory.
Interested in (lots of cliches) seeing male roles such as:
Eh, I could think of more, but this will do. Just to give you an idea of things I'm into so that we might have a bit of a connection should we share interests in similar story elements, here are a few.
Video Games: The Legend of Zelda, classic JRPGs like Chrono Trigger, Horizon, Fire Emblem
Movies: Star Wars (OG mainly), Independence Day, Jurassic Park, Jaws, Treasure Planet (I am so serious)
Anime: Gundam, One Piece, Hyouka, Tsuritama, Erased
Anyway, shoot me a message if you're at all interested. Don't care who you are, where you're from or how you identify as long as you can sufficiently roleplay a male character!

Interested in (lots of cliches) seeing male roles such as:
- basic of the basic (your classic kind, upstanding, justice-loving, gentlemanly hero type)
- goofy, wild guy (seems oblivious, tough, and carefree on the outside, but deep pain on the inside)
- quiet, dark, mysterious guy (kind of unconventional in his thinking, but is ultimately nice)
- super smart jerk (who is still a jerk inside... to most people )
- antisocial telepath (whoops, I said I wouldn't decide powers...)
- sweet, athletic guy
- tough, hard-working guy
- the guy with all the connections
- overprotective, outspoken guy
- sweet, gentle, girl's best friend guy
- stand-offish, prodigy guy (no, not Sasuke, not that much of an asshat)
- will never fall in love but sometimes enjoys a fleshly distraction guy
- the guy who disappeared for two years without a word but suddenly shows up on former lover's doorstep - especially that guy
- the artist who forgot how to be happy
- the edge lord bassist who has a history of making really bad decisions
- the guy who seems to be great at everything but just wants everyone to leave him alone (but he's too nice to say things bluntly)
- this guy just wants to find someone, or THE one, he's not actually into everything female that moves
- the really obsessive, nerdy, collector type who could never even imagine a woman who is into what he's into, but there she is - and she's talking to him!
- the really shy/meek/plain, but actually really strong/powerful guy
- the guy who can't even figure out why in the world he's in love with that cute, childish woman who lives two apartments down from him, she's not even his type and it's making him crazy
