Light Molecules

Although light as we know it usually does not interact with other light interesting research experiments have shown this is not the case.

Researchers have discovered how to bind photons (light particles) together almost like molecules!
When a laser was shot through a ultra cold cloud of rubidium atoms they saw photons on the other side
bonded into groups of three. These light "molecules" even have a small amount of mass! Time will tell what
this means. Possibly even in the future allowing us to make entire crystals made of light!
