No. Never understood them. If I want to accomplish something, make a change or discontinue something, I just go for it, gradually get into it or plan for a convenient time to implement whatever it is that I need to accomplish, establish, change or discontinue. I think the whole resolution thing stems from religion.

I agree although I never thought it was started by religion. I suppose maybe it's helpful for some people and I think it's great if someone makes positive changes in their life, even if it's short lived.

Do you make New Year's resolutions why or why not? Feel free to share them if you do.

I make them sometimes depending on wanting to be more accomplished. Here are ones i'm doing for next year:
1. Actually get to my goal weight
2. Pick up 2 new hobbies
3. Dedicate more time to writing
4. Take more photos & do more art
5. Attend more events to see my friends

I like those. I think weight would always be on my list if I had one. Those sound fun

What is something you would like to learn?

What is something you would like to teach someone else?

I've been playing around with wanting to buy a tablet & take up drawing seriously. Also, learning violin. I kept saying I was gonna do that last year but never did. I'm seriously going to do it this year.

I'd love to teach sewing maybe or making jewelry.

I love learning just about anything, like almost anything.
Most recently, I learned how to fly an airplane because I didn't know how...several years ago, I learned tips and tricks to add platinum highlights to lots of hair styles because I got tired of hearing how nobody ever got it right, lol!

I'd like to teach people how to defend themselves against physical abuse. I was in wrestling and judo from the age of 6, even got invited to try out for the men's u.s. Olympic wrestling team my senior year. In 6th grade, I had a good friend who got beat up by a group of 8th graders, and ended up paralyzed from the waste down, and hated bullies ever since. Now I coach my son's wrestling team, but would like to teach anyone dealing with it, how to stop physical abuse from happening to them... And before anyone wants to try and feed me the, "violence isn't the answer!", bullshit-let me save you a wasted breath! Violence isn't the answer...but it is definitely an effective solution, and unfortunately, is the only option available immediately!

My bad, thanks for listening...lol!
