That ad is a separate process. It has no bearing on chat process. Chat could be down and ad could still load, and vice versa.

I clear my cookies and cache daily
It behaves the same wether its on safari or google. I only have an ipad and kindle tablet now so i cant really use any other browser network. It only started about a week ago.
