- Are you using special settings or extensions?
- i use BTTV/ 7TV extensions for twitch, but have replicated this on vanilla broswer installs, happens regardless of firewall or incognito mode, no VPN, only antivirus is windows defender/ security or w/e its called these days
- Did you update your software recently?
- iirc all firm and software have had updates in the last 7-10 days. windows first, then all other things had to have updates to cope with it lol the issue started with a FCN update to how the login page looks and operates.
thing one:
when logging in (especially if as a guest), when entering a birth date, you cannot type the numbers, the field gets stuck in one of the two digits and will not accept a number greater than 9. sometimes it works if you start with the year and go right to left, but it often gets stuck all the same so you are forced to use the "calendar" widget. this wouldnt be an issue except the widget takes an age to scroll wheel up the 80's or if you try to drag the slider you have to be very careful about how you let go because if you are not, the slider resets back to start (2007) and you begin again. oddly the coookies on the page will remember user name and gender, but the birthday field is resistant. im not sure this screen shot helps in anyway but it said to include them so at least you knwo what im talking about. i have been able to replicate this on both Edge and Firefox.
second thing:
while i understand there might be pretty decent reason for staff/ mods to want to nerf ALLCAPS in main/chat rooms, can we PLEASEEEEEE have the function reinstated to our PM's? using caps is a method relided on in text to convey tone as much as emoji or italics or colorgrading you gave us (thank you) on action commands (using * * around phrases or the /me) it would be nice to be able to be "loud" or excited in my private convos since its not going to bother the other chatters the way ALLCAPS spam in main will.
