Switch Long Term Fantasy Roleplay

I'd play as the Demon Princess (my normal character but back in time, +18 of course) and you'd play as a protector that the Demon King assigned me.

You (=your character) should be a very skilled fighter (weapons, magic, something else entirely, I let you choose but don't be overly powerful), considered a hero in the Demon Realm, even able to keep up with me and put up a decent fight against the Demon King.

The story would develop with us slowly getting closer, with my powers growing thanks to your help (in many, different ways~), culminating with my crowning as Demon Queen.
I have a plotline (actually a couple, but they are a surprise plus I love to improvise~) but I'll leave you a certain degree of choice within the story, so please be a little bit creative.

I'm fine with any gender and most humanoid races (human, elf, demon, angel, etc...) but no furry, kemonomimi are fine (human with animal ears and/or tail ex: nekos).
