Hey everyone. I've been a member here on FCN since the Java chat days of way back when. Those of you who do know me likely recognize me as the calm, laidback guy from either Singles or Roleplay. I thought I'd take a chance and introduce myself here in hopes to possibly make a few new friends.
I'm Brett, I'm 40 but as I like to tell everyone, don't let the number fool you. I look, feel and act more like a 25 year old. I'm from Michigan in the USA. I work at a restaurant but also am a writer. I have 5 books published online, of the suspense, romance and action genres. I enjoy movies, music and sports. I'm a bit of a romantic, like to be the type of guy to sweep a girl off her feet and make her smile any way I can. I'm a very "go with the flow" kind of guy. Anyone who knows me on here can likely tell you I'm one of the more kinder and genuine people here. If someone is feeling down or upset, I'm usually the first to ask what is wrong and if there's anything I can say or do that would help. My motto is "treat others the way you wish to be treated," so I show everyone kindness and respect. If I don't get it in return, I don't let it bother me too much. I usually either ignore the person or come off with a smartass response. But I've come across some really awesome people here and hope to meet more.
