Her dad was always looking for trouble. Not intentionally, but thats how he was. He was an inventor who created all these weird contraptions in their basement, and when he invents bulletproof vest that's a fraction of the cost of the ones now, word gets out. There was a mafia in their city, and their leader knew of this. 'Beast' was their nickname. When they finds out, they kidnaps her father.
