Spent the weekend with my 85 yr old mother who insists on still being the primary caregiver for my 63 yr half old brother who has schizophrenia. Her determination and will to see that we always had the best of everything meant she worked the same

ft job for 43 yrs and them on the weekends for 30. She's not really affectionate or emotional but we definitely knew what maternal love was and is

Avril wrote this song during her struggling times as she was diagnosed with Lyme disease. The words mean a lot to me and I don't have Lyme disease but I do have many other chronic illnesses and I'm trying to just keep going and I'm always praying for God to keep me going and basically like the song keep my head above water. ❤
