Very inappropriately. Also, make sure to mention that they're calling across the world near or after midnight where they are, when they could be with their families or sleeping. If you got a minute, pretend to be interested and then go on some crazy story, throw in a few inappropriate remarks and words, etc, but pretend like you didn't say shitty things, get into arguments over those things, etc.
 
More when it's busy af. Less when it's not busy. Tbh, I'm highly against them, because it takes away jobs and, frankly, I should be receiving an employee discount for checking myself out and collecting my own money for them to keep. On the other hand, businesses have a hard time finding employees to fill those jobs.
