I can't say what the most disturbing film is I've seen. I really into horror and thrillers ( the first adult book I read was Christine by King) but Dark Crimes is the most disturbing I've seen lately. Jim Carrey playing such a messed up character may be why I think so lol
It really is, very different type of horror film, the tension is palpable and it doesn't pull any punches.
Both Hostels ~ experienced a new favorite song from one of them, so I guess that's less than disturbing. The Descent ~ fucking gave me chills, I don't know why. The Devil's Rejects ~ was pretty up there. ...okay, but just watched the trailer to the one mentioned above, and definitely disturbing. Ew
The Descent is pretty creepy. Are you referring to Hereditary? I felt drained and relieved (yeah I know, there's a joke in there somewhere haha) when it ended, very tense, good flick but I doubt if I'll ever watch it again. Lol
Yes! In the trailer when the mother says something about not even being able to feed her...that's as far as I'm quoting lol Disturbing, but not necessarily good, right? There is a movie I'm struggling to remember. Struggling to remember if it's even worth remembering for this thread lol And seriously, Rob Zombie's second Halloween creeped me the fuck out. It felt almost real to me, possible I guess.
Poltergeist did it for me when I was a kid. The fact my grandmas house was near a cemetery didn't help either. And that's where I went after I saw it. But the Exorcist had me freaked a bit too
Saw people talking about this one on FB, apparently a fan financed film, rented at Redbox a few weeks ago. Weird, wild and at least a little disturbing. https://www.google.com/search?q=Man...ericamovil-us&sourceid=chrome-mobile&ie=UTF-8
