Muted?

So I posted a question in 4 different rooms and I got muted for it. I did not know you could get muted for different rooms. Obviously it makes sense to mute someone if they repeat themselves in a single room, but different rooms? Okay then. Anyway, how long does a mute last and how do I go about getting it taken off? I know now not to be a bad boy again. LOL

Spam is spam. Anti-spam system looks at data, not rooms. You wait out the mute, the length of which varies with severity of spam.
I had a similar situation, however, I got a message telling me I was risking a mute, so I started actively watching what I sent. However, apparently sending 3 or 4 (different) gifs to several people all within 5-7 seconds of each other was enough to tip the iceberg. Idk if this is because the system identifies all of a certain media type as the same message or if it is simply because the number of messages in the short timeframe, either way, I will be EXTRA careful and not do either of those things just to be sure lol.

Hopefully this will be a short mute as it was an honest mistake and the messages were different and sent to different people privately.

you go from thread to thread with the same rude dismissive response, perhaps you could give a little more insight into how the length is calculated rather than seemingly taking immense pleasure from being as unhelpful in your answers as possible

Insight will not be given, because spammers, scammers and problematic users will abuse that knowledge.
Website is privately run and will do what's necessary to protect itself and its user base from spam, scams and disruption in order provide better experience for everybody.

Repetitive content is spam.

Content poaching users is spam.
Flooding low quality content is spam.

Not always. I was muted today for repeating the same thing which was not the case. I was chatting with one person and not chatting in the rooms at all. I am not sure why I was muted or for how long it will last and never given a warning in the chat that I was in. So far my mute has lasted 20 minutes.

...30 minutes
