Grim was created years ago by the experimental genetics division of a vast, militaristic interstellar faction called the Firecrest Stellar Navy. He was made a soldier aboard several starships, rising through the ranks until being given command of a Magnus-class battleship, the Blacktip. But Firecrest overestimated his loyalty. After assuming command, he upgraded the ship with advanced AI, the most powerful laser and plasma weaponry available, and a cloaking device. Then he issued an order to abandon ship, after silencing those crewmembers who could tell Firecrest how to copy his vessel. Once everyone was gone, he activated the cloaking device and silently disappeared. Now he works as a high-risk mercenary and bounty hunter, feared by all with a price on their head. In RP, Grim is a gruff, very careful, and slightly paranoid man, owing to the massive price on his own head.
