Question for everyone

Is there a memory you would like to relive? What is it?
Well ...

In FCN the day @Jinxy storm into AC room (when she was still chatting) and just jump into the fun banter going on at the moment making it even better but also was the day I met the most amazing person who would become my best friend in Afrikaans we call someone like that "my vlerk" directly translate "my wing" but it dont sound the same lol

In real life ... hmm the day I met my mentor an old lady so wise and clever she have learn me many things and guide me throught many moments in my life. I once invite her to my home for tea and cake lol and was so excited and nervous at the same time it took me the whole morning to prepare for one visitor ... but then I make a mistake and instead of sugar I put salt in her tea mine too lol ... we took the first sip at same time I spit my tea out and say "I'm so sorry let me go make new tea" it was not much salt as she drinks very little sugar and she looks at me and say "sometimes we need to add a bit of salt to give life a bit of a better taste just like with food" we have a laugh and the rest of the visit was wonderful today she is not with the living anymore but I will always remember that day :)

What's the last thing you orgasmed too?

When was the last time you slept more than nine hours?

What was your favorite film you watched as a child?

What do you do to unwind after a hard day?

What's your family's Christmas tradition?

Enjoy and have fun:)
My imagination.

Um, Saturday night I think was about 9.

When I was like 2 it was The Little Mermaid lol. Then when I was about 13 it woulda been Drive Me Crazy.

Coffee and Netflix

Baking with my kids is probably my favorite... driving around to see lights, decorating gingerbread houses, betting on who wakes up first on Christmas morning, fresh coffee with yummy Christmassy flavored creamer while we watch the kids open gifts, going to parents houses for lunch and dinner. Gawd I love Christmas!

Question for everyone

Are your Facebook friends random people or only associates/ those you care about?

I deleted my FB earlier this year having signed up when it was only accessible to those with university email addresses, whilst I did use it extensively for a number of years, I'd barely used it in the last 5, my privacy settings were set specifically but I didn't like the idea of so much of personal data being held. My FB only ever had friends, family and acquaintances known to me in person.

It was actually MySpace which was my first real social media presence that I had random online friends from all over the world plus Tom (who was everyone's friend).

Question for everyone

If you could donate a large sum to any charity or cause. Which would you pick?

I think the following specific causes, building schools and broadening access to education for those who need it most as in the long term that yields the greatest dividends for humanity.

Microfinance initiatives which allow the poorest access to interest free loans to set up small businesses that give them a steady income stream with which they can support their families and pay off the loan over a period of time. I've seen this done quite successfully in a number of ways in Africa and India from helping people to buy cars so they can run a taxi services, to helping people buy equipment and ingredients to set themselves up in catering/food delivery/food vendors, sewing machines so they can make clothes/tailoring etc. So many more examples I could give. This automatically gives families more security, improves living conditions which feeds into better health outcomes as better nutrition and generally live better which then potentially allows them ability to send kids to school or keep them in education longer.

Schemes that look to improve access to sanitation, clean water and improved living conditions. Whilst health care is essential and access is vital it takes lots of money to develop health infrastructure. Targeting shelter and sanitation is cheaper and a quick win in making a change that dramatically improves health outcomes.

Question foe everyone

If you could pick another real life name? What would you choose?

I do love my real life name, it wasn't the name my parents intended to give me but I was born on that religious figure/saints birthday and that was that, as my parents said I came with that name and they didn't have the audacity to change it.

My name here Calazviel is one I created myself for online gaming as a teenager, I wanted a name that was unique to me and I toyed with many syllables till I found a name that felt right in my mouth and sounded beautiful and elegant for me. I feel like a part of me inhabits that name now so I guess if I had any other name it would have to be this.

1. Glad that DSL mostly fell out of fashion I used to get messages like that all the time and I saw red every time a guy said that to me.

2. My clothes / shoes. I've let my friends and some family members borrow some things and I've had my stuff ruined. So I will not let anyone borrow my stuff anymore.

3. I'm an atheist, so I don't believe in any religion and I could never convert to any religion even if I wanted to. It wouldn't be right or fair to my partner. It would be more humane to break up if they expected me to convert to their religion. The most I could do is celebrate holidays with you or go to funerals or other events.

4. I don't celebrate Christmas. To me it's just another day and the source of a lot of seasonal depression and grief for me.

5.
Cookies called sablés from france. They are just short bread butter cookies. Makes me feel nostalgic.

But also not Christmas cookies but I used to eat Macarons year round because they are so delicious, but they make me very sick and I can't eat them anymore.

Question for everyone

Have you ever been in a position or place that you thought you couldn't handle things but at the end you were proud of yourself because you did an amazing job?

Ahhhh YES! SO many times I've lost count tbh.

Life in general gets fucking overwhelming sometimes but staying positive believing on yourself and working hard can get you so far!

It's amazing when we prove our full potential to ourselves by pushing through something that feels too difficult at first and surprise ourselves at the end when things work out better than expected!

Sometimes we need to remember just to keep on keeping on :)

sports teams? Pheonixxx plays sports?:D What kind of sports? Is it field hockey...I get a strong field hockey vibe...@PheonixxxMonroe

Omg I dont wanna seem deceiving as I haven't played team sports for a while but I have done SO many sports over the years its not funny ... WHERE do I start ... ok, I don't play field hockey but its weird that you say that cause I have hockey champs in my family and my Mum always wanted me to play hockey but it wasn't my thing (What gave you the field hockey vibe? My legs?? Hehe :p)

I've done dancing, gymnastics, squad swimming, little athletics, surfing/body boarding, horse riding/show jumping, cross country running, soccer, netball, softball and basketball to name a few ;)

Are you sporty @FireflyEyes something tells me you've danced and or cycled before. Am I right?

What gave you the field hockey vibe? My legs??
Yes I think it was the legs...I feel you and the hockey skirt would...uh:oops:...and I have the impression you rock a pretty good ponytail. [not to mention the serious high energy, sassy kick-assy thing]

I took one lesson of ballet, but the teacher creeped me the fuck out so I never returned. Thus, I am about as graceful as an acorn falling from a tree. (there's potential, right?)
But I am very athletic. Swimmer, cyclist, runner, rugby player, yogini. Those are my core sports. But anything that is physically challenging, requires teamwork or has a coach is right up my alley.

@PheonixxxMonroe How did you get into show jumping?

Oooh, hockey skirt n legs ... yes! That could lead one's mind to wander hehe! I do rock a pretty good pony tail/messy bun when I'm feeling ... "sporty" :p

Oh that sucks and glad you turned your back on that! I did tap, jazz and ballet for a good 5 years. I stopped doing karate for a similar reason and YES there's potential ... tequila said to tell you that "You CAN dance! :P

You look super healthy/flexible/athletic (and bloody gorgeous) from what I can tell!

The show jumping came from tue country blood in me, my love of horses and my Grandmother surprising me with lessons on all things horse from cleaning, brushing, saddling, riding and jumping and that's how I got started. I was lucky enough to have family with a big farm and they kept and looked after horses so it made things a lot easier :)
