@AlexWS Sorry for taking so long to answer.
What’s the purpose of newspapers anymore? In my personal opinion there is very little purpose left for newspapers. Anything you can find in a printed paper can be found much sooner online. I suppose some investigative journalism can still be a useful thing for newspapers. I used to get a Sunday paper for all the coupons... Now I get those all on my phone. I would be surprised to see any newspapers in circulation 20 years from now.
Is there something that you’ve dreamt of doing for a long time? Why haven’t you done it?
I've dreamt of going to London since I was 10-11. Why haven't I gone yet? Primarily money as it will costs a lot to spend an entire week in London. Also stuff at home takes precedence and there haven't been many times where I could just leave for a week with no worries about getting back to the States quickly. As soon as this virus situation is under control (whenever that might be) I've decided I'm just going to go.
What did you enjoy about school?
You might laugh, but learning. I wasn't a socializer in school. Sure I had friends, but it was a small group. I really liked and enjoyed learning new things through school. Had a few teachers who really made a lasting impact on my life.
Besides a raise or more vacation time, what’s the best perk a company can offer employees?
Work-life balances such as flexible starting times, working at home (which isn't a problem now for most employers), spreading out work among the staff, offering care programs for kids, stuff like that. In a nutshell just being flexible and not expecting employees to work 50-60 hours a week. I did that for a while and I've promised myself never to do it again. I don't mind occasionally working over to meet a tight deadline, but I'm not doing it all the time.
When was the last time you had a professional / good massage?
Been so long I can't even remember! At least several years ago.
