Thoughts Neighborhood Q&A

Q. How long do you have to be chatting with someone before you agree to chat to them using another app?

I don't have a hard number like ten or fifteen or anything. It is dependent on the person and how easy/free flowing the conversation is between us. Plus if we have connected well and just click... so long story short, it truly just depends.

Okay, I've taken up enough time in this thread haha.

I would say not much of a difference...at first thought. However, if I truly analyze it, I am more ME on here. I've realized in the last few months that I want to make my fcn life/personality blend a bit more with real life. Most people know I post pics. I do this for ME. How I feel and how I present myself is so freeing. I'm NOT going to go around showing the fam/friends my nudes, but I need to start carrying myself in such a way that I'm proud and confident with my body. Also, I'm a kind person that can gladly say fuck off. I need that a bit more in real life. Just sayin'
"Amen" Heidi! Kindred spirit here.

I think this is something that most females here would agree with. Especially ones they reach a certain age. We tend to spend a lot of our lives being the version of our selves that suits the person that we are with. Be that parents, significant other, kids , work etc. and while doing that we can lose a little of ourselves.
So it is nice to be able to find our selves here again.

Touches base with a convo I had with my brother irl this week.
We were talking about how friendships can be complicated to navigate sometimes. Because of people's character, background, being relatable etc. You can have someone you totally cherish as a best friend. Yet, they aren't the person you can go to with your trauma or dark secrets and deep personal things. You know they cannot relate to it. So a piece of you, and a significant piece at that, always seems to be missing in the friendship. They'll only ever know certain sides of you.
Versus that good acquaintance or casual friend. Who totally has some experiences and POV that you have. And you can get lost for hours with them just unraveling all these pieces of yourself.

I guess that’s why it’s good to have a different friends.

Question for anyone -

After a long day what is your favourite way to relax?

What place would you like to visit at least once in your life?

If you could have an unlimited supply of something for the rest of your life what would it be?

Either by playing a game on my phone or reading. Depends on if I'm really in the mood to read as sometimes I am not.

What place would you like to visit at least once in your life?

England, more specifically London. I've wanted to go there practically my entire life.

If you could have an unlimited supply of something for the rest of your life what would it be?

Might be a different answer, but I'll say energy and passion to do things such as exercise, travel, and take care of family.

good answers. Especially the last one. Wasn’t the type of thing I was thinking but even better.

Snuggled up in the arms of the one I love, telling them all about it.

So many! Ok, I'll shortlist a few. Iceland, Australia and Scotland.

Time and energy. I would love to be able to explore more of the country, the world. But in order to that, I'd need more of that.

Questions for anyone :

- What are you most passionate about?
Getting my offspring to be the best little genetic bits of me, and not all the shitty bits

- What's the sweetest thing anyone has ever done for you?
Thats difficult, I think its a lot of little things vs anything giant. Random hugs are always nice from people....

- What is your fondest childhood memory?
Probably typing in code from Byte magazine on a brand new Atari 800 that my parents got me, and actually having it work the first time.
(My ex used to call me "the boy who had no joy"....my bar isn't high)

Q. What is the weirdest thing you've ever seen?

Some block holding hands with a life like blow up doll sitting on a park bench whispering in its ear.
For once I was speechless as I ran by

Q. Did you have to have a light on when you where a kid at bed time
