Just a guy, 33/Florida .... right outside Orlando and just looking for some way to pass the time and maybe make a new friend or two. Just got back from road tripping to Vegas and the Grand Canyon, and planning my next trip to idk where yet.... any recommendations? I love nature and hiking and being adventurous, found Vegas to be a waste of time but maybe that’s bc COVID ruined it.

Welcome to the forum and I hope you make friends and enjoy it.

I always wanted to drive the whole of CA-1 and not only beause I love its name Pacific Coast Highway, but I always ended up working at its north end.

It's the right time to start the Appalachian Trail from the south isn't it? I loved walking a short stretch but was freaked out by the absence of a pub or coffee shop anywhere.

I am always happy to talk here.

Yeah Cali is def on my mind it’s just so screwed up with COVID. I’ll give it sometime. Besides the driving, which I love, there’s the parks, I still have a few that I def will have to see in the next couple years. And I’ve done a third of the Appalachian trail. But after seeing the Rockies and the Grand Canyon, it’s like what is this lol. Nice legs btw!

Grand Canyon is obviously awesome but I would like to walk it - at least some - outside the confines of a tourist guided hike.
