I'm not sure where you "found out" this information, but it's not good. It's not exactly a revelation when new people post that they're new here, nor is it an introduction.

Luckily for you, we like to give people the benefit of the doubt here, and assume they lack the skills required to post an introduction in the aptly named Introductions forum simply because they are new... maybe some other reasons too.

Best of luck getting past the new point.
