Punctuation, let's not jump the gun. Some of them struggle with English. Let's break them in slowly.
It makes me cry at times, when I see my poor language, the language I love, the language that supports me and keeps me sane, being tortured without mercy and sacrificed on the altar of illiteracy for no worthwhile purpose.

I know what you mean. My diction and grammar at times can be terrible. My excuse is that I'm often on my phone and I don't read back. I also have chronic dyslexia so it can often read fine. Anything commercial I write goes through a friend of mine who is amazing and just correcting my work instead of explaining why its wrong
I feel of late my huge [pet hate has become text speak, You is You not U, it's not M8 and such things.
It doesn't really matter here if you can understand what they are trying to say. It's more like 'If it's worth saying, say it well' sort of thing. I appreciate the better-written posts more, there is often subtle sarcasm or nuance of meaning lurking within.

Hmmmmm. I know a lot of the time my sarcasm can be gunboat in its animosity. I really shouldn't let it out to that degree, especially when I'm pretty articulate and capable of far more subtle wordplay when I want to be. I am sadly nowhere near your own vaulted skill, being a mere Skald..
Sarcasm is a very subtle language that not many people realize
