NFL Season

NFL Films and the music of Sam Spence made this game seem even more epic than it already is.
[Edit: The League blocks videos using game footage so I'll post this one, which is just straight-up pandering to the OP lol]

@LastOne is that Antonio Freeman and (ohhh lemme tell ya 'bout) Keith Jackson circa 1996?
 
Denver fan here, been following the NFL since we got it on TV in the early 80's. I've even managed to get to a few games when teams have played here and also seen a game in the US.

I'm a big fan of that guy! Should have seen me when he got injured...it was like all my hopes and dreams got crushed hahaha I am NOT a Browns fan but i am from MI so the Lions will always have my similar love lmao We are on the same boat my new Friend.

This is a great pick-me-up tune. Thanks brother. And yes, that is Antonio Freeman high-fiving Coates on his solo Super Bowl catch. Epic game indeed, especially when Favre audibles on the first play to throw a TD pass.

Have to share this, my daughter and I caught a preseason game at the Coliseum vs the Packers and the moment we drove into the stadium lot, we were getting hell from Raider Nation. The Green and Yellow made us targets. We changed to neutral colors before going in. But when my kid got a chance to sit in the Black Hole with the crazies. She turned Raider that day.

The Raiders will never get a fan base like they have in Oakland. Not in Vegas.

Go Carr!!! Go Gruden!!!! Go Raiders!!!
 
It's odd when you go to games in the UK all the fans are mixed in and were just glad to get to a live game. Everyone wears there team colours regardless, atmosphere is different from games I've been to in the US.

I've seen the NFL Europe games on TV. It's different to see a stadium filled with jerseys from all teams. Different in a refreshing way. The excitement is still there though.
 
The Mahomes pass Friday night was crazy. I am sure we will see some really good ones like that, and some bad ones also. Looking forward to the season starting.

Yes!!!!! My Friend! Raider fans are unlike any other. I mean mouthdropping insane and I LOVE it! I've been to a few games and I also worked every game against the Chargers, when I was in the Navy! Talk about a rivalry :eek: they stop serving drinks early at that game! Hahaha

Being a Falcons fan the never ending ridicule I face because of past choke jobs never goes away. We have Ryan guaranteed money that he shouldn’t have gotten and our team looks like it’s ready for another solid season and disappointment in the playoffs

Let’s get ready for some football! Wooooo

If they brought back "The Dirty Bird" they would get over the top. Lol.

Falcons is the one team that can kick anyone's ass in NFC. But your right, its on paper, gametime coaching matters.
 
@LastOne might get a kick out of this. Last year I had auto-draft. For both my teams, the computer picked Andrew Luck, who at the time had “no timetable” on when he would be able to throw a football.
Also Spencer Ware who was out with an ACL. I was immediately in “rebuilding” mode lol.

So a couple of guys I work with helped me put together an All Auto-Draft team of potential busts and over-ranked players the computer might pick this year.

Wow. They are spot on. Luck, Gordon, and Seattle's D killed me. Hope you stayed clear of Indy this year. I took a chance on Gore past two years to no avail. Good post.
