Nothing to see here but dancing

As a kid we made fun of Ed Sullivan (because we all did an impression of him...poorly) but he really did bring modern entertainment into the living rooms for people that never would have been exposed to certain performers. I remember this episode because I when I was 10 or 11 here wanted to be cool like this - never was but, oh well. There's not that much dancing here; what there is captures the moves back when singers had to have moves too - there was certain escapse from the past, looking forward to freer times - sorry for being nostalgic

Mate, never ever apologise for being nostalgic, simple as that. Every single thing we all note here is of the past and only recalled due to some link of event, people, time. These are all aspects of nostalgia and to deny them is to dishonour all that we associate with them. You know as do I and many others here, such things are to be celebrated so as to honour these souvenirs of life and to show others the many and the unique ways of being.
