We are good, things have changed for us for the good, also things look good for newcastle.
i think it would be better for newcastle to go down and rebuild, instead of getting players who will take newcastle money and have no passion for the club.

You have a really good manager now who can push you on to the next level, Roy was someone who just brings a stability and was never going to push you on, but they've built a good squad in a short space of time considering how many of your players were out of contract at the end of last season.
I think we did the right thing in the transfer window not throwing endless money around, no doubt we could have spent double or triple but although the Saudis are rich beyond belief the chair (Amanda) seems to be really grounded that we need to build slowly I think we'll finish around 15th then really build in the summer, already heard that there planning gone in fir a new training ground which is the things we are desperate for.

Ooooh a football thread?! Spurs girl here :D
We literally just got beaten by Burnley 1-0 despite beating City at the weekend with the same starting XI. Also a Luton supporter if anyone else follows the Championship too?

Yeah soz, lol! Only two points between you now I think and I think Burnley still have a game in hand.

Yeah yeah don't rub it in haha I think a couple of the teams above us will be dragged into it too, we have Brentford at the weekend, another must win game.

Aye Bonny lad. ;) The bloke I work with is a Hammers fan. Said the Toon should have won last weekend as they were the better team.

Nahh I thought a draw was fare, West ham look really good on the break, loved to hear that Chris wood was making purring cat sounds in Kurt Zuma's ear.
It's going to be a really close run in at both ends !!!

Newcastle are starting to much better under Eddie Howe. just hope he gets the backing he needs. also the club don't go looking for a bigger name manager once Eddie keeps the toon up.

I'd like to think he'll be there long term, it just depends how he handles it if and when we start buying some real big name players but up to now I can't complain he's brought new life to the area and got us all talking positive again instead of years of moaning, obviously the new owners being so up front with everyone helps a great deal too, I'd rather we were steady away and consolidated out position and invested in a new training ground and updated the stadium instead of buying a load of money grabbing players.

Well i hope so, look at what his done with the team as you have a team now. i thought maybe it wold be a good idea for Newcastle to go down and rebuild with players who want to be premier league players with Newcastle, and not go in for the money, but i think Eddie has turned it around.

You did well yourselves today, top ten I think but we'll be hot on your heels soon ha ha, it was a scruffy game today Brighton pas the ball really well but I'll take the 3 points anyway, up the toon lol

We did well against wolves, but when conor gallagher goes back to chelsea, we will see how well the team really plays , as he works his socks off , also was james first match back to link up with conor so to terrier hounding the wolves team. so was nice got man city next going to be a good game.

You should give them a good game, I think you'll build further in the summer he seems to be building a very stable team.
