(not aimed at anyone specific, just inner musings)

People and memes say alot of the time to "be yourself" but we as people hide behind metaphoric masks to allow us to "blend in" "knowing" that people wouldn't understand or accept us for who we are if we took them off. It's very common and we long for people to trust that will accept us for us. As one of those people, I've always wondered what the world would look like if everyone walked around being who they are on the inside.
 
I'm sick and tired of the obligation imposed upon us by the over-commercialization of holidays. It is not realistic or feasible to get everyone a gift this time of year, not should I have to. I also don't understand birthdays, anniversaries, Valentine's day, Thanksgiving, Halloween, or Easter. Why do I have to wait for any of these days to show people in my life that I care about them or give them a gift. Why only show their importance one day a year or a couple? I guess Ive reached a point where I've stopped pretending. If I don't care about you, it'll be obvious, but if I do...you'll know it. I may not show up to your birthday, or congratulate you on another year of marriage...but if your water main breaks, or you need someone to unload a truck, or you have no food to eat....I'll be the first one there to help you!

Oh please, you can’t be at peace until you've trampled all over my feelings. It's cool though, I enjoy reciprocating :D

Heyyyy lol I don't only give but also get gifts and little notes and thanks through the year not just on the above days lol :) ooo and by the way ....My kitchen tap is stuck lol I'll just leave the door unlocked lol Feel free lol :)
