I wonder why they call it Grape Nuts if it doesn't contain grape nor nuts.
Post believed glucose, which he called “grape sugar,” formed during the baking process. This, combined with the nutty flavor of the cereal, is said to have inspired its name. Another explanation claims that the cereal got its name from its resemblance to grape seeds, or grape “nuts.”

I don't mean this in a bad, demeaning way in any way shape or form, but I often find myself wondering what the percentage of users on this site are straight females. Sites like this tend to be dominated by men and bi or les females, and as a fan of statistics, I find myself being curious on this more times than not.

It's so difficult to reciprocate love to someone. Everyone has a different way they love, so even if you are loving them in return, how do you know that you are actually being effective in your love? Unless you are deliberately taking the time to selflessly perform acts of love that show love to the other person, then it doesn't matter. The old saying, it's the thought that counts only lasts for so long...

Have you read the book "The 5 love languages"? Eye-opening.

Learn how they like to feel loved by being attentive, using communication And asking questions. Put it into practise and their reactions should tell you if its effective. They should do the same for you.

I have yes, and a book called love and respect. I'm quite familiar with how to effectively love someone else :) my thoughts are usually for others in attempts to help them if they are lost or confused or generally to provoke thought. But I love that you've also heard of it. My love language is Physical Touch with hints of acts of service. What's yours?

Just took it on the site. Very cool to see the percentages.

Why are online classes so boring.
I swear my attention span is max one hour, after that i start to day dream or get easily distracted, like rn
It's because human beings were designed for interaction and intimacy and you can't get either of those from a machine or online class. In person instruction is important for this reason, it keeps the student engaged for a number of psychological reasons that would bore most people if it were delved into...so I'll stop there, lol

I have but a fraction of the usable information in the world in my head. I am lucky that I have an incredible ability to retain it, but it's still small compared to what's out there. Even while in person, sometimes you can still want to sleep, but the subconscious part of your brain appreciates the time the professor is taking, respects the other students for also showing up, and weighs these things. With online learning, it's just you and an unthinking, unfeeling machine. It's easy to want to get sidetracked when that is the case :)
