Thoughts Post your little thoughts.

Sitting here and reflecting on 9/11 twenty years later. It's a day I'll never forget. I remember where I was when the first plane hit the North Tower. I was driving to college (attended a commuter college) and was listening to the radio. The radio station cut in and said an airplane had hit the North Tower in New York City. I got to college, found a TV, and watched as the second plane hit. Then I immediately got in my car and drove back home to be with my Mom and brother. We watched together as the day unfolded, not believing what was actually happening. I remember going for a drive that night and every single gas station having a line so long you couldn't pull in.

The days after 9/11 were surreal as well, seeing all the recovery going on, the 'War on Terror' beginning, and how the world changed.

9/11... Never Forget.

I remember being awake getting ready for school. I was like 12. I remember a bit of it and remember watching the tv in school about it. Most of it was a blur back then but as I got older and could know more in depth of what happened it definitely hit me in a way that is really different than anything else.

When cargo pants came out mode it was still OK. But since skinny jeans appeared, I haven't been able to find jeans I could wear. Even with "comfort fit", most jeans will not pass my calf, and if they do, they definitely won't pass my thighs.
I really don't know how or why guys would wear skinny jeans... It must be super uncomfortable! Or are there women who like guys basically wearing leggings? Idk...

I hate skinny jeans on men.
Good luck finding a pair of proper jeans that fit.

Men shouldn’t wear skinny jeans.

Vast majority of men look terrible in skinny jeans, which is the fault of the jeans, and not the men. Not attractive at all to me.
In addition, they also look terrible on me and I find it really difficult to find women’s jeans which aren’t skinny - they are not flattering to my body shape.

I'm grateful that I didn't lose anyone I loved on 9/11. I will never forget the terror of that day as long as I live. I felt like I was living in another world. I cry every year for all the kids who have grown up without a parent, and all of those who have lived without their loved ones. I can't imagine.

Re: the skinny jeans discussion earlier this thread, when I used to wear them, they were basically just normal or even loose on me - and likely still are. Eek. I just might have a weight problem.
You're perfect just the way you are. I guarantee there's guys that see you and wish they could be thin like you are. Both my boys have opposite body types and I remind them of this often. :)
